About product

GREEN ALGAE WAFERS — plant-based sinking wafers for algae-eating fish.

This plant-based food, enriched with Spirulina platensis, is designed for the daily diet of Loricariidae fish (such as ancistrus), whose nutrition should primarily consist of plant and algae components.

The wafer form also serves as an excellent supplementary food for bottom-cleaning fish, as well as freshwater and marine crustaceans.

GREEN ALGAE WAFERS are highly hydrostable — they retain their shape in water without breaking apart. This feature:

makes feeding easier for crustaceans,

creates natural feeding conditions for sucker-mouth fish that scrape food from hard surfaces.
