About product

Sun-dried Daphnia

Water fleas – daphnia (Daphnia pulex), are small crustaceans belonging to the suborder Cladocera. They are a primary component of the diet of many fish species living in their natural environment. DAFNIA VITAMINISED is dried, convenient-to-use daphnia that provide fish with many essential micro- and macroelements. Most importantly, daphnia are a source of chitin – a ballast substance that regulates the digestive system and protects fish from the dangerous effects of constipation. For this reason, DAFNIA VITAMINISED is an important component of the diet of carnivorous and omnivorous fish.
