About product

DAFNIA sun-dried daphnia

Water fleas – daphnia (Daphnia pulex) are small crustaceans belonging to the suborder Cladocera. They are a key component of the diet of many fish species living in natural environments. DAFNIA food consists of dried, easy-to-use daphnia that provide fish with many essential micro- and macroelements. However, above all, daphnia are a source of chitin – a ballast substance that regulates the functioning of the digestive tract and protects fish from the dangerous consequences of constipation. For this reason, DAFNIA is an important part of the diet for carnivorous and omnivorous fish.
